With a stunning waterfront, dazzling natural harbour, pioneering spirit and proud naval history, Plymouth is a living and breathing marine city.

To celebrate its unique marine culture, this September will see the launch of Plymouth’s new Marine City Festival – an exciting programme of events to entice residents, visitors, scientists and adventurers alike to explore the city and discover for themselves all it has to offer.

Featuring the inaugural Plymouth Seafood Festival, The Blue Mile challenge, the international Oceans of Potential conference and an inspiring programme of events and activities for all the family, Plymouth’s Marine City Festival is a land mark event which cements the city’s reputation as the cultural capital of Devon and Cornwall.
