Fatyak Kayaks become the Official Kayak Partner of the Ecover Blue Mile
Sport Environment is delighted to announce today that Fatyak Kayaks has agreed to become the official kayak supplier for the Ecover Blue Mile. Fatyak Kayaks, which are manufactured here in the UK, will provide a fleet of their latest “Kaafu” sit on top kayak suitable for anyone to be able to paddle a Blue Mile at the flagship event in Plymouth and selected venues across the UK.
The third edition of the flagship Ecover Blue Mile event will take place during the opening weekend of their new Marine City Festival on the 8th - 9th September. Plymouth’s historical waterfront provides a breath-taking backdrop to the one mile open water course where participants will also be able to swim, paddle and walk for the environment.
Fatyak sit on top kayaks are manufactured in Williton Somerset by enthusiasts who live and breathe the water. The Kaafu Sit-on-Top Kayak is a fantastic multi purpose boat and is a great choice for those wanting to enjoy kayaking on flat water, sea, surf or rivers and is perfect for the Blue Mile.
Jayne Blundell, Spokesperson, Fatyak Kayaks.
"Fatyak Kayaks are pleased to be associated with such a flagship event as the Ecover Blue Mile and all that this organisation represents. We are lucky enough to work in one of the UK’s most picturesque areas of outstanding beauty and are based in Williton, just outside of Minehead which is the gateway to Exmoor. We are surrounded by rugged coastline, glorious beaches and lakes so this cause is close to our hearts."
Conrad Humphreys, Managing Director, Sport Environment
"We at Sport Environment are thrilled that Fatyak have come onboard as our official kayak partner for 2012. They are a great UK based brand and their products will encourage people to explore and enjoy our rivers and seas. We look forward to showcasing their latest products at all of our Blue Mile events."
